a) Not be in Spain in an irregular situation.

b) Be at least 18 years old.

c) Have no criminal record in Spain or in the countries where you have resided for the past five years, for offenses defined in the relevant Spanish legislation.

d) Not appear as rejected in the territorial space of countries with which Spain has signed an agreement in this regard.

e) Have sufficient financial resources for the applicant and his family for the period of time for which they wish to reside in Spain. In case the accredited resources derive from the activity carry out, its valuation will be made after the expenses/costs required for the maintenance of the activity have been deducted.

f) Not to be found, as the case may be, within the term of commitment of non-return to Spain that the foreigner has assumed upon returning voluntarily to his country of origin.

g) Do not suffer from any of the diseases that can have serious public health repercussions in accordance with the provisions of the 2005 International Health Regulation.

a) Individuals must meet the requirements in current legislation to open and develop the planned activitity (in addition to setting up the company, individuals may have to follow other procedures, such as obtaining licences).

b) The professional qualifications required for the professional activity to be carried out or sufficient experience for exercising that professional activity must be provided, together with the qualifications required for professions whose practice require specific approval and a certificate of membership of the corresponding association in the case of independent professional activities for which association membership is required.

c) Proof of investment resources that are sufficient for the business project, and, where applicable, its effects on job creation.

Live and work on your own in Spain, limited to the geographical area of an Autonomous Community and a sector of activity.

a) The effectiveness of the initial residence and work authorization will be conditioned upon the worker\’s registration in the Spanish Social Security.

b) Carry out the economic activity.

c) Schoolize minors under the investor care.

d) Stay in Spain for more than six months in periods of one year.

a) The project must have been maintained in the terms in which it was considered to be a project of special economic interest for Spain, prior verification, by the administration of compliance with their tax and Social Security obligations.

b) Continue to meet the requirements that are required for the initial application.

c) Keep minors under the investor care in Spain’s educational system (public or private).

d) The integration effort of the foreigner in his place of residence will be considered.

 a) Initial residence permit: 1 year.

b) Renewal of the residence permit: 2 years, unless a long-term residence authorization applies.

The procedure must be initiated at the diplomatic mission or Spanish consular office corresponding to your place of residence.

Once the visa has been obtained, the foreigner must enter Spain within three months and join the Social Security. Subsequently, within one month, the investor must apply for his residence card for foreigners at the Immigration Office or the closest Police Station.
