Thanks to the Spanish Entrepreneurs Act that came into force on September 29, 2013, possibilities of obtaining legal residence and work permits in Spain have increased for investors who make a significant capital investment in Spain.
– Real Estate (min. 500,000 euros)
– Financial Assets (1 to 2 million euros)
– Business Projects (no min. investment)
– Spouse or unmarried couple,
– Children who are minors or those of legal age that are financially dependent,
– Parents at their care
– Visa: 1 year
– Initial authorization: 2 years
– Renewals: 5 years
Renewal does not require effective residence in Spain for residence visas and authorizations for foreign investors.
As established in Spanish Act 14/2013, residency by investment will represent sufficient title to live and work in Spain during its validity and freedom of movement in the Schengen area
Visa: 10 business days
Residency authorization: 20 business days
