How does the purchase process work?

1. Tax planning and investment structure

We recommend starting the process with a detailed study of the implications of the investment in the personal and wealth sphere of the investor. An analysis would be made in regards to the investment goals, specific region of interest, corporate investment project, marriage and property ownership rules, inheritance taxes, etc.

2. Administrative tasks

3. Property selection

Finding an investment that suits your objectives. This step of the process can be done independently by the investor or through our real estate consulting service in which our team of professionals will provide assistance in locating and analyzing investment opportunities.
 

4. Conduct of legal and technical property due diligence

We carry out a detailed research process on the property to avoid possible hidden risks that may harm the interests of the purchaser.

5. Negotiation of the purchase terms, formalizing preliminary agreement and/or a purchase contract

6. Notarized purchase deed and registration at the Land Registry

We review and prepare the official deeds and coordinating all the formal aspects with the Notary. Remaining price payment must be made, as well as the taxes applicable to the transaction.
